I was talking to my friend from New England yesterday and he told me that a nor'easter weather pattern may bring a foot of snow to the East Coast. Hey, won't it be Spring by Monday? Actually, it will likely be more like Winter here and there and, even though this winter has been relatively mild, this East Coast blast may have them shoveling and it may influence us here in Western New York as well.
All day long on Monday, January 11, 2016, Buffalonians looked at this line of clouds hammering the southtowns with snow.
A tough sight for those that had to make that commute home.

How did I miss this? It wasn't until today that I learned that starting this winter season (2012-2013), The Weather Channel has decided to name "noteworthy" winter storms.
