The City of Good Neighbors is a great place for many and a resurgent economy has been making the place even better. But exactly how good is it for those who have served our country in the Armed Forces?

Here are some of the free meals and discounts for Veterans and active military members on Veterans Day.

It can sometimes be frustrating having the kids home from school. They get bored so easily.

Today, I implore you to take a break from fighting on Facebook about how your presidential candidate is better than the other or how one group is more terrible than the other...and simply thank a Veteran. They're the reason you continue to HAVE the ability to do what I just mentioned...

When you have an appointment with the dentist you can usually expect some discomfort along with opening up your wallet. When Veteran William Bell, who served five tours in the Army, went to his dentist appointment, he was greeted with a pleasant surprise, no charge!

With Veterans Day here, we thought we should salute the Wounded Warriors Family Support project. This organization is a supported by the Obama Administration and is helping provide businesses with a new sign for use in their their parking lots, designed for wounded warrior parking.

From seeing my cousin Staff Sargent Timothy Payne drop the ceremonial first puck at the Sabres game on Saturday to the giant field length flag at the Ralph on Sunday, it sure felt quite patriotic in Western New York this weekend.
