Jack Russell and Chihuahua breed mixes were found abandoned today on Bank Road in the Town of Middlebury. The dogs were removed and taken to the Wyoming County Animal Shelter. One of the dogs was deceased, and others appeared to be in poor health.

The SPCA is offering a $500 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or people responsible for shooting a cat with a bow and arrow in Lackawanna.
