E!’s The Soup, or its previous iteration has long run as a staple of pop culture commentary, but it seems Joel McHale might be out of a job once more. The network has decided to send back The Soup after 22 seasons and 12 years of McHale as host, effectively ending the franchise, at least for the moment.
The dust has barely settled from the 2015 Sundance Film Festival, and already we’ve got a look at the lineup for the 2015 South by Southwest Film Festival. After an initial announcement that included opening night film ‘Brand,’ about comedian Russell Brand,’ things have filled out really nicely with a ton of promising-sounding selections.
We’re still pinching ourselves at the notion that ‘Community’ survived to its sixth season after all, but Yahoo Screen will have much more than a pinch this March. The Greendale gang has officially set a March return for the ostensibly final season of ‘Community’ (assuming #SixSeasonsAndAMovie), also revealing their episode schedule.
Often times it’s hard to think of goofballs like Joel McHale as studly men, but just remember the old saying, “don’t judge a book by its cover.” As McHale can attest to, you can find some of the best pecs and abs of steel underneath a funny-guy persona.
Hopefully PEOPLE magazine figures this out in time, as McHale is a candidate for their 2011′s Sexiest Man Alive title, which will be announced Nov
