The Walking Dead may have wrapped Season 8’s “All Out War,” but is the next big bad just over the horizon? Fans are whispering about a deliberate clue from Sunday’s finale, though producers now walk back any confirmation of Season 9’s next villain.
We’re now eight seasons into The Walking Dead, and three into companion series Fear The Walking Dead, so there’s no pretending the world is fighting back. An extended new featurette for the latter’s June premiere cements as much, also revealing exactly what became of Madison, Travis, Nick, Strand and Alicia since Season 2.
It’s tough to say whether The Walking Dead is set in its ways, or might surprise us in Season 8’s “All Out War.” Either way, at least one notable tweak is in order, as showrunner Scott Gimple says Season 8 will address a long-running fan complaint over the series’ pacing.
It’s been an exceptionally punishing year for fans of The Walking Dead, who first endured the cop-out of Negan’s entrance, a summer spent waiting, and about eight episodes since of misery under The Saviors’ reign. ‘The Walking Dead’ makes Season 7 too real performing “Service” to Negan’s victory, but does the first trip to Alexandria spark a sense of rebellion, or languish in grief? And will anyone tell poor Tara about Denise? Find out in our full review!
The Walking Dead has spent the majority of Season 7 in the aftermath of Negan’s vicitms, but will finally return to Rick and co. in next Sunday’s “Service.” our first post-“The Cell” clip has arrived, as Alexandria prepares for the Saviors, and someone wants inside the gate.
It’s early enough into The Walking Dead Season 7 that we don’t yet know how the major story will unfold in the wake of Negan’s rampage. That said. AMC’s flagship hit is already looking forward to Season 8, as Max Steel star Maria Bello has “apparently” secured a role in The Walking Dead’s 2017 season.
Well, now that the biggest Walking Dead Season 7 mystery is finally splattered out in the open, next week can begin to lay out the full story. So it is, that our first new clip from “The Well” takes us inside the enigmatic new community known as “The Kingdom,” as Morgan prepares Carol to meet the King.
Whatever complaints we level at The Walking Dead, few could argue the artistry of the undead outshining movie zombies year after year. Season 6 served up some particularly gross walkers, from sewers to sandwiched in a quarry, so gird your stomachs for a look at the best from the Season 6 Blu-ray.
AMC companion series Fear The Walking Dead has struggled to turn the same heads as its mothership, even as Season 2 now unfurls with the same midseason cliffhanger that The Walking Dead has trafficked in for years.
