We were all saddened by the news that Jeopardy! host Alex Trebek passed away over the weekend, but the game show is moving forward with scheduled episodes including one today (11/10) on WIVB-TV that features a Buffalo native.
James Holzhauer, the Jeopardy! champ who dominated 32 games and won $2,462,216, made a recent donation to a Naperville, Ill. pancreatic cancer walk in Alex Trebek's name. Trebek is currently battling stage 4 pancreatic cancer.
Boy, if there’s one topic you’d never imagine Jeopardy! a stickler for, it’s gangsta rap. You have to see this viral video of a contestant losing over $3000, as judges reverse Alex Trebek’s acceptance of proper “Gangsta’s Paradise” pronunciation.
I like to watch the Wheel/Jeopardy combo at night and sometimes I actually catch the show and obviously prove to be better than the people on the show (don't we all...lol). Last night Buffalo was featured in the "World's Fairs" category. I thought it was a gimmie for WNY, do you think it is...
Alex Trebek is a cultural institution, a beacon of knowledge and grace under pressure. Everyone loves him. Which is why it’s always amusing to watch the unflappable host of Jeopardy say silly words and phrases in that reliable deadpan of his. A recent episode of the immortal game show saw him forced to say the name “Turd Ferguson,” which should amuse anyone with a passing knowledge of modern comedy.
