Suzanne Suchan is Giving Hope to the People of Buffalo

Suzanne Suchan is the founder of Love Shouldn't Hurt a non profit organization right here in Buffalo that helps domestic violence survivors.

Love Shouldn’t Hurt Inc is a local charity with national reach that supports men and women impacted by domestic violence to live again after abuse. We help people to get to safety and then support them to rebuild their confidence. Many of the clients we serve are turned away from the big agencies for not being 100% destitute ie, they have a job, or a car, or a place to stay. We provide advocacy, resources, a hotel room, a ride to/from court, help with moving, counseling, therapy and a support group. We are run by volunteers and have operated from a living room from 2010 til now. Now we have an office share so we can hold our support group, something that has been in demand and desperately needed for over a year.
