[/caption]Do you have a kid that loves science?  Maybe your little one wants to be a police officer or maybe your just looking for something fun to do over spring break?  The Buffalo Museum of Science has a busy week of "kids-friendly forensic programs" planned to coincide with its CSI experience currently on display there.

Today's program features a demonstration from the Lancaster Police Department (April 6, 11am-2pm) on real-life police investigations.  Detectives will be on hand to demonstrate foot impressions, fingerprints and even blood splatter in crime scene investigations.  Also on hand today, Hilbert College students will be there to show you how to be safe on the Internet and demonstrate how simple it is to track a person down via social media, google and other Internet sites.

The spring break activities also include demonstrations from Buffalo State College, the Erie County Sheriff's Department and K-9's from Phillips Command Dogs.  The activities begin today and run through April 13th.  For a complete list, check out http://www.sciencebuff.org/.
