Part of what makes 'live' TV like the Oscars fun to watch, is that folks that lose often show odd reactions.  Well, If you watched Oscar's last night, you may have caught Director Spike Lee's reaction to "Green Book's" best picture win.  He was NOT pleased.

According to the on-line Hollywood Reporter.

In the press room, Lee recalled the time that Do The Right Thing didn’t get a best picture nomination in 1989, the year that Driving Miss Daisy won. "This is my sixth glass and you know why," he told reporters, while holding a glass of champagne. "I'm snake-bit. Every time someone is driving somebody I lose. But in '89 I didn’t get nominated, so."

In a long career, hard to believe that this was the first year Lee even got nominations nods.  Although his film "BlacKkKlansman" lost in the best picture category; Lee did pick up his first-ever Oscar for best-adapted screenplay.
