The SpaceX rocket that was headed for the International Space Station exploded shortly after take off on Sunday.

The initial liftoff from Cape Canaveral went off with no issues, but then approximately 2 minutes and 19 seconds into flight, the space shuttle exploded, and experts believe that some kind of build-up in the oxygen tank is to blame.

The SpaceX rocket was carrying more than four-thousand pounds of food and supplies to the space station. This was the third unsuccessful cargo mission to the space station.
