Cool new initiative, just announced in Buffalo Rising, last week.

It's called Buffalo Film + Television Workshop.

Buffalo Native Torre Catalano has been working in Los Angeles, and thought why not bring some of my 'skills in writing, directing, producing and even acting' back to his hometown?

Catalano has

set out to develop classes for beginner and intermediate talents, who were interested in upping their game in the industry. Instead of asking people to travel outside of Buffalo to take the classes, he opted to set up shop where he grew up.

The workshops happen between July 22 to August 2.
