According to WIVB, Tuesday will bring a cold front with the possibility of severe thunderstorms, that would bring heavy winds and rain.

Right now, there's a 60 percent chance of showers on Tuesday according to Weather.com.

After Tuesday passes, Wednesday will be sunnier, with more rain chances coming for both Thursday and Friday, with Laura storm remnants giving Western New York a few showers going into this upcoming weekend.

All in all, we've been pretty fortunate with this summer -- it's been very sunny and warm, and here's hoping the storms on Tuesday aren't too severe.

Enjoy the nice weather while we have it, because it's late August, and who knows when Mother Nature changes gears on us.

My fiancee and I are supposed to go to the drive-in on Friday, so hopefully Laura remnants aren't too bad...
