As the nation continues to slowly reopen during the COVID-19 pandemic another round of stimulus checks could be sent out to Americans as early as August.

Currently, lawmakers in Washington are working on several different bills that could end with another round of Stimulus checks being sent out to Americans.

CNET is reporting that if a second stimulus package is approved it would happen at the end of July after Congress comes back from a 2-week break.

While there is no firm timeline for when Senate, House and White House negotiators will make a decision, they are under pressure to reach a deal quickly, as the enhanced unemployment allowances for an additional $600 per month are set to expire July 31

As of June 12, the Bureau of Labor stated that over 13 million Americans have filed for unemployment benefits.
