Some people will argue that this is a free country and you can do what you want with your wings, but true connoisseurs of the mighty wing know that to properly respect the heritage of the wing you must treat it right.
Here are five things that people do that screw-up chicken wings. So please DON'T DO THESE THINGS.
1. Use a fork to eat your chicken wing - Wings are hand food. They are meant to be held in your hand and dunked in blue cheese. Using a fork doesn't make you look proper, it makes you look like you don't know how to eat a wing.
2. Hogging All The Drums or Flats - Everyone has a favorite type of wing. But if you don't order all drums or flats and have a mix, don't be the person who hogs your favorite type of wings.
3. Reheat Your Wings - Leftover chicken wings are meant to be eaten cold. They are the best when they are cold and dunked into blue cheese.
4. Leave Meat On The Bone - The only way to really eat a wing is to make sure you get all the meat off the bone. If there is any left on, you are doing an injustice to that wing.
5. Use Ranch For Dipping - Yes, this is a big debate, but wings were meant to be dunked in blue cheese. Ranch should only be used as a last resort after all the blue cheese in the world disappears.
If you do any of these to your wings just you that you are doing a huge injustice to your chicken wings.
