Saying Good Bye To The Elephants

The Buffalo Zoo is saying, "Good-bye" to the elephants with a HUGE party this Saturday.

The Buffalo Zoo is inviting you to come and say farewell to the elephants. The event starts at 10 a.m. on Saturday and runs until 4 p.m. The Zoo announced in August that the elephants will be leaving to go to The Audubon Zoo in New Orleans.

This would be your last chance to see them and of course say good-bye. I have to say this saddens me deeply. I love taking my daughter to the Zoo to see the elephants. It has been part of her childhood. It is sad to see them go but I understand fully that they need more room to roam.

So come on out to the Buffalo Zoo on Saturday and bring the kiddos. If you don't have kiddos, bring your nieces and nephews. This is something that you don't want to miss as this is your last chance.
