Sandra Bullock Comes Through for Japan

Sandra Bullock is one of my favorite movie stars and here's one reason why...  The Oscar winning actress has pledged one-million-dollars for relief efforts in earthquake and tsunami-ravaged Japan. 

The American Red Cross tells CNN that Bullock's donation is the largest celebrity donation to the Red Cross since the disaster, although the organization acknowledges that it has received other donations that have been kept anonymous by request. Bullock also showed her generosity last year when she donated one-million-dollars to Haiti following the devastating earthquake that rocked the island nation. She also continues to support rebuilding efforts in New Orleans, post-Hurricane Katrina.   

It's heartwarming to know there are people like Sandra who are willing to share the wealth with those in need. She's definitely a class act -- not to mention a great actress!
