Free agency is winding down across the NFL, including the Buffalo Bills. Teams have for the most part, decided who to bring aboard as unrestricted free agents and fill gapes.

Bills general manager Brandon Beane has made some big time moves, including signing star edge rusher Von Miller to a 6-year, $120 million contract last week. The move finally gives the Bills that coveted pass rusher, which has been the biggest missing piece on a Super Bowl caliber team.

The Bills also signed the likes of defensive tackles Tim Settle, Daquan Jones, Jordan Phillips, defensive end Shaq Lawson, running back Duke Johnson, wide receiver Jamison Crowder, guard Rodger Saffold and tight end O.J. Howard.

The Bills have their starting offensive line pretty set, although there's no worry with one of the Bills starting guards.

According to reports, the Chicago Bears will offer sheet Bills guard Ryan Bates.

Bates is a restricted free agent and was offered a low tender deal from Buffalo. The low tender allowed Bates to meet with teams and Bates will get an offer sheet from Chicago.

The Bills have five days to match and if they do not match, Bates will go to the Bears and the Bills will receive no draft compensation, since Buffalo offered a low tender.

Bates took over a starting role in December and never looked back. He played very well inside and left fans wondering why he wasn't the starter sooner.

This wouldn't be devastating for the Bills, but certainly not ideal.
