It's officially "J.J. Watt" watch right now in the NFL as the former three-time defensive player of the year is looking for a new team since being released by the Houston Texans last week.

Several teams have been linked to wanting the soon-to-be 32-year old defensive end but today a pretty eyebrow-raising report has surfaced that links the Buffalo Bills to Watt.

According to ESPN's Kimberley A. Martin, the Bills have inquired about J.J. Watt and there is definitely mutual interest from both sides.

Watt has spent his entire career 10-year career with the Houston Texans but asked for his release as the Texans are likely heading for a rebuild.

The Bills are one of the favorites to win the Super Bowl next season and it's no secret J.J. Watt would probably prefer to play for a contender, which the Bills fit. The team also is in desperate need of pass-rushing help, and one could argue it's the number one team need heading into the 2021 offseason.

I know Watt is not the player he was in 2014 or 2015, but he's still a hassle for offensive lines and the Bills could really use someone like him in their defensive line rotation.

Could J.J. Watt be coming to Buffalo? We shall see. This is probably the biggest free agent watch the Bills have had since signing defensive end Mario Williams in March of 2012.
