According to WKBW, Regal announced plans to reopen their theaters by July 10th.

As one would imagine, however, there are plenty of new social distancing and sanitizing guidelines in place when you finally do go back to the theater.

Contactless payment will be fully utilized -- with the ability to pay for tickets and concessions on the app ahead of time.

ULV Foggers will help employees sanitize all seats between each screening.

Floor markers will be placed so customers can keep a safe distance from one another.

All employees will wear masks and undergo daily health screenings to check temperatures. Greeters will also be placed in the lobby to help customers get used to the new changes.

Arcade games, vending machines, and water fountains will remain closed.

Here are changes to concession stands:

Every other register will be closed. A reduced menu will temporarily be available. There will be no self-serve condiment stands. There will be no refills on drinks and popcorn.

Here's what to expect when you enter the theater itself:

Reduced theater capacity to 50 percent.

Two empty seats will be between groups and one empty seat if the theater is a recliner seat location.

Group sizes will be required by the current state or county laws.
