The Buffalo Sabres are gearing up for a bust next week or two, as unrestricted free agency will soon begin.

Teams are open to signing any unrestricted free agent, starting at noon on Wednesday. The Sabres have plenty of cap room to make moves, but we will have to wait and see if general manager Kevyn Adams decides to break the bank on skaters or even a goaltender.

One player who will not be a free agent (likely anytime soon) is defenseman Rasmus Dahlin.

Dahlin was the first overall pick in the 2018 NHL Draft and had his best season as a pro in 2021-2022, even being named to his first All-Star game.

In case you forgot, it's 716 day this Saturday in Western New York, which has gained in popularity over the last several years, as Buffalo celebrates all things, well, Buffalo.

Some of the Sabres players participated in a 716 charity commercial and it's priceless.

Jeff Skinner, Casey Mittelstadt, Alex Tuch, Peyton Krebs were all involved but Dahlin won the video, as he wore a classic fedora and white jacket.

Watch below.

The Buffalo Bills and Sabres will be helping donate and raise money for local charities starting at 7:16 pm on Thursday and going until 7 am on July 16th.

I love the look that Dahlin gave when he was firing that paper gun. It's so subtle but easily my favorite part of the video is his acting.
