Yes, I already know what most people are saying out loud to themselves, as I type this -- "no, no...NO." But yes, ranch dressing will be served at the 18th annual Buffalo Wing Fest, which kicks off Saturday, August 31st.

The Wing King Drew Cerza made the announcement on Wednesday.

"We are going to have Hidden Valley Ranch dressing available for all of our out of town guests," he said.

"We know Buffalo is a blue cheese town," he said. "But again, I'm asked all the time about ranch, can we get ranch dressing at the festival, and we are."

Even though blue cheese is clearly what you have with wings (it's not up for debate in Buffalo), Hidden Valley Ranch is making a very cool gesture in return for being welcomed to Wing Fest. They will match all donations made to the nonprofit FeedMore of Western New York.

That's right, Hidden Valley will match ALL donations made to FeedMore of Western New York.

...but blue cheese is still what we're having with our wings.

The National Buffalo Wing Festival takes place at Sahlen Field on August 31st and September 1st.
