LAKESHORE FLOOD WARNING…for the Lake Erie Shoreline 12:00 PM Monday through 8:00 AM Tuesday…

The 4 Warn Forecast from our meteorologist friends at WIVB-TV indicates that there may even be a thunderstorm early Monday, although that certainly isn't the focus.

Western New York is looking at remarkably high wind gusts along the Niagara Frontier, and that will include the city. Damaging gusts may reach as high as 60-70 MPH. They are expecting to see the strongest winds between 2PM and 7PM.

A big concern will be along the Lake Erie shoreline, where flooding is possible given the strong winds. Be sure to charge everything tonight and get the generators prepared, as there will likely be power outages in some places given the damaging winds.
