Queen City Roller Girls Playoffs At Riverworks, Saturday

Okay here is something rough and ready and a tad crazy for the weekend.  How about checking out the Queen City Roller Girls?  They are in the playoffs!

Their Mission, from their website, is glorious

Queen City Roller Girls (QCRG) is continuously committed to the reviving and redefining of the classic sport of roller derby, with a 21st-century twist. Flat-track roller derby is a full contact sport played by independent, strong women. The League provides an opportunity for athleticism, camaraderie, and self-expression. We inspire on and off the rink; we serve the community, get fit, and have fun.

From the site, "Doors will open one hour before the posted event start time, not sooner.  You will not be able to go to your seats until the Will Call office opens."

Also, "Online sales close 5 hours before the posted event time. If you’ve missed the online sales window, tickets will be available at the Riverworks box office starting approximately one hour before the event starts."
