Next time you take a walk through Como Park in Lancaster, you might see the newest resident workers -- goats.

The goats are there to help curb the spread of an invasive plant species growing along the park's creek beds, according to the Lancaster Police Department's Facebook page.

The Erie County Parks Department hired a company who manages the goats, and the park "has fenced in certain areas on the park islands and it contains several goats."

The company has asked people not to disturb the goats, and to make sure if you take your dog into the park, they remain leashed.
