One of the sure signs that fall is on the doorstep here in Western New York is Pumpkinville reopening and that time has come once again.

According to WGRZ, Pumpkinville in Great Valley (Cattaraugus County) will be opening on Saturday. September 12th.

They'll be open rain or shine, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. through October 31st.

There will be some changes this year, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. New Plexiglas has been installed throughout the farm, as well as numerous hand-sanitizing stations.

Pumpkinville will keep the attendance level below the state guidelines but will offer their normal operations Monday through Friday.

However, on the weekends, guests are encouraged to purchase wristbands online, which will be required to enter the Farmyard Fun area. Guests will still be able to enter through the farm market or food section.

As one would expect, face masks will be required at all times as well.

You can find more information on how to purchase those wristbands at Pumpkinville's website.
