At least in California it is. Many Americans believe that changes in laws and attitudes on immigration will spread a positive vibe through the rest of the country.  Over time, this could help with a smoother naturalization process for undocumented immigrants. Many feel this is an undeserved break for those cutting in line.

California is where you'll find the largest number of undocumented immigrants in our country and just the other day at a DMV office, the line was so long it went out the front door and stretched around the corner. Because of a new state law, more than a million undocumented immigrants just applied for a driver’s license, and can get one.

Voice of America says:

Since the beginning of the year when the law went into effect, tens of thousands of undocumented immigrants have applied for a license.

Do you think this is a good way of keeping track of who is here and it will assist them in assimilating into our country?

Or, do you think they are cutting in line and do not deserve any advantage over those who are trying to join our Union the proper way?
