Over the years of his presidency, Barack Obama has proved that he is somewhat of a hip-hop head on numerous occasions. Yesterday (March 12), Potus was at a fundraiser event for the Democratic National Committee in Austin, TX, where he revealed he is a fan of J. Cole.

In footage captured from the Commander In Chief's speech, he gives props to the North Carolina rapper. "I love J. Cole," he said before admitting that his daughters keep him in the loop when it comes to the latest tunes. "You know, this is the benefit of having teenage daughters. I actually keep up. I got a chance to see J. Cole's mom and grandma," he added.

Cole was probably in the building to hear Obama's kind words as he also performed at the event yesterday.

Since he's been if office, especially recently, Obama hasn't been shy about voicing his love for the hip-hop culture and certain rappers he can get down with. Earlier this year, he chopped it up with Kendrick Lamar in the Oval Office. He invited Maybach Music Group rapper Wale to perform at his final State of the Union Address. He also recently weighed in on the Drake vs K. Dot debate and even said the TDE rapper's "How Much Does a Dollar Cost?" is his favorite song.

Let's not forget the time he kinda sorta recited the words to Future and Drake's "Jumpman."

Shoo, Obama might mess around and start a label when he retires from office.
