Police Are ‘Unfortunately Confident’ They Found Body of Baby Maddox Lawrence [VIDEO]

New York State Police Divers plunged into the cold waters on Tuesday in search of 21-month-old Maddox Lawrence.

Authorities did pull the body of a child from the water, and while awaiting DNA results, they are "unfortunately confident" that it is baby Maddox.

The child's father and suspect behind the abduction, 24-year-old Ryan Lawrence was arrested, interviewed and now charged with 2nd degree murder.

Ryan Lawrence is known to have mental health issues and can be emotionally unstable. He also suggested that he was jealous of the attention his daughter was getting after being diagnosed with a very unusual form of cancer, according to the Onondaga County District Attorney's Office.

Ryan Lawrence is expected to be arraigned within a week, and could face 25 years to life in prison is convicted of murder.
