As we get ready for possible a record-breaking heatwave this weekend across Western New York, some people will use the nice weather to get ready for the holiday season.

Now that Halloween has come and gone some people like to skip right over Thanksgiving and get into the Christmas mood. For me, the day after Thanksgiving is perfect to start spreading the holiday cheer, but if you are inclined to listen to some Christmas music there are some songs you should not play in Western New York.
We asked on Facebook, what Christmas song is the one that you just listen to anymore? It doesn't mean the song is bad or the artist was off-key, it is just a song that when you hear on a sunny day at the beginning of November you ask yourself why?
Here are Five songs that people in Western New York can definitely wait until after Thanksgiving to hear.
5. Grandma Got Ran Over By A Reindeer - This is a song that has been around for a long time and poor grandma never gets out of the way of the reindeer. Novelty songs usually have a short shelf life but this one has gotten a lot of play.
4. Santa Baby - This is a song that has been covered by plenty of female artists and it seems that every time it gets a remake more and more people don't want to listen to it until it is closer to seeing Santa come down the chimney.
3. Baby It Is Cold Outside - This is a song that sounds much better closer to December 25th. It is hard to get into the "Cold Outside" mood when there it is sunny and 75 out. This song is meant for December and snowy days.
2. All I Want For Christmas Is You- This song is the one most people know as the song that kicks off the Holiday season. Even Mariah Carey has joined the fun and put out a meme this year. Again this is a song that sounds WAY BETTER in December.
1 - The Christmas Shoes - This song is a song that divides people. Some people love it and some people hate it. What most people agree is that this song should be played after Thanksgiving.
We say, go out and enjoy the fall and the nice weather we are having this November, and then get ready to get in the Christmas spirit after giving yourself plenty of time to digest that turkey.
