One Of the Greatest Speeches Of All Time

Tonight at 8 p.m. ET ABC will broadcast the 25th annual ESPYs hosted by former NFL quarterback Peyton Manning.

It is an award show put on by ESPN. And although every award show has moments where people take to the stage to give their speech, it is hard to find one that is more moving or relevant than the one Jim Valvano gave at the 1993 ESPYs.

It doesn't matter who "Jimmy V" is or what he did. The message that he gave is what does matter as well as the foundation that was created.

Sometimes we need to sit back, turn off certain distractions of our everyday life and tune in to what really is important.
