Following a string of vehicle thefts overnight, North Tonawanda Police are reminding people to keep their vehicles locked, their valuables secured, and their outside lights on.

WKBW reports the burglaries have taken place in the Wurlitzer Park neighborhood.

"Police say they've gotten a number of complaints of cars being broken into overnight, and that many of the cars were unlocked," reports WKBW.

North Tonawanda Police are using the hashtag #9PMRoutine on social media to remind people to secure their cars and residences.
