North Tonawanda National Night Out TONIGHT

Join the North Tonawanda Police Department and its supporters for National Night Out, tonight (Tuesday, August 6th) from 6-8pm at Gratwick Hose Fire Company at 110 Ward Road in North Tonawanda.

National Night Out is is an annual community-building campaign that promotes strong police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live and work.

National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.

Millions of neighbors take part in National Night Out across thousands of communities from all fifty states, U.S. territories and military bases worldwide on the first Tuesday in August. Neighborhoods host block parties, festivals, parades, cookouts and various other community events with safety demonstrations, seminars, youth events, visits from emergency personnel, exhibits and much, much more.

The North Tonawanda event will include:

• a child seat check
• Police and Fire personnel
• a K9 Demonstration
• Joe Chille from 96.1 The Breeze as emcee

You are asked to bring a canned good for the North Tonawanda Inter-Church Food Pantry.
