The Federal Bureau of Investigation, U.S. Marshals, along with the New York State Police and Niagara Falls Police conducted a raid at an Airbnb on 25th Street in Niagara Falls, New York. Police seized two .380 caliber pistols, marijuana, and narcotic pain medication. The two people arrested were both from California - Brock Goines, of Cucamonga, and Haleigh Felton, of Inglewood. Each of the suspects was charged with criminal possession of a weapon. More charges are likely once the medication is tested.

Niagara Falls Police Superintendent John Faso told WGRZ,

"This is a continuation of the cooperative efforts between NFPD, Niagara County Sheriff’s Office, NY State Police, and our Federal partners at the FBI Safe Streets Task Force, DEA, ATF and US Marshals to focus on violent crime and the influx of illegal firearms in our community. As the warmer weather approaches, expect to see more enforcement initiatives like this."

Power 93.7 WBLK will be hosting a town hall about preventing youth violence in Buffalo. Join Yasmin Young and our special guests starting at 10 am on Saturday, February 26 for the on-air conversation. For an hour on Saturday morning, we'll stop the music to talk about this important issue facing our community. We are losing too many young people to violence and the streets. It's spilling over into our schools and has long-term effects on the youth. We've asked community leaders, members of anti-violence community groups, and the City to be a part of the discussion.

Our guests for this special program are:

Pastor Giles - Back To Basics Outreach Ministries & Buffalo Peacemakers
Rasheed N.C. Wyatt - University District Councilmember
