New York State Teacher Wins In ‘Jeopardy’ Tournament
Friday night, He did it? A Hendrick Hudson High School teacher, Francois Barcomb won the 'Jeopardy' teachers tournament.
The 50-year-old Gardiner, New York, had quite a fight, according to USA Today
Barcomb got off to a blistering start on day one Thursday night by finishing with a total of $20,400. His opponents, Conor Quinn and Sara Delvillano, lagged well behind with $5,600 and $4,800, respectively. Quinn went all in and ended up with $26,400. That combined with last night's figure of $5,600 brought his total to $32,000.
But in the end Barcomb's huge cash advantage of $41,600, was too much to beat.
Barcomb says he will be back in his science classroom, on Monday.
