It was a busy weekend but a winning one for a legendary broadcaster in Buffalo.

Not only did Channel 4's Jacquie Walker present some of the New York Emmy awards this weekend, but she also walked away with one herself.

Walker is the longest-tenured news anchor in Buffalo broadcasting history and is also a member of the New York State Broadcasters’ Hall of Fame and the Buffalo Broadcasters’ Hall of Fame.

Apparently, there were plenty of awards to be handed out since Walker stated that the ceremony lasted six hours. Check out some photos that Walker posted on her Facebook page from the event.

Walker wasn't the only winner from WIVB. Former meteorologist Andrew Baglini also took home a New York Emmy. WVIB wasn't the only big winner over the weekend. Pegula Sports and Entertainment took home a couple of Emmys for their work with the Buffalo Bills.

This year was the 65th annual New York State Emmys. You can learn more about the New York State Emmys by clicking HERE.
