The New York City Department of Education is reportedly considering a ban on chocolate milk in city public schools.

They say there's too much sugar in chocolate milk and that's the reason they're looking for a switch. The New York City School district has not made a decision yet, but they say it could mean 80 less grams of sugar is they only have white milk. New York wouldn't be the first to ban chocolate milk, San Fran, DC and LA, although LA brought it back after a couple-year ban.

The New York Post reported that a group of upstate dairy farmers have enlisted the help of local members of Congress to express their concern about the potential ban", according to WGRZ.
