Western New York is bracing for a blizzard this weekend and along with the rain, ice, and 70-mile-per-hour gusts of wind, there will be plenty of Lake Effect snow across the area.

It looks like much of the snow will happen starting tonight and continue through the weekend but this model is showing a lot of that snow will come before the end of Saturday night. On top of all, that snow will be very windy conditions. The wind along with the snow will cause blizzard conditions across the area.
Travel will be tough as well across the area and many officials are asking people to not travel if possible.
