But for all kids in Cheektowaga, there's a new place to play. A new playground, compliant with all guidelines in the Americans with Disabilities Act, is open for playtime at Stiglmeier Park.

The playground equipment was supported by a $10,000 grant from the State Office of Child and Family Services secured by State Assemblywoman Monica Wallace, according to WIVB.

WIVB reports it's the first ADA compliant playground in Cheektowaga.

It features a new walkway with rubberized surface for better traction between the playground and the parking lot.
