A big question on many Americans' minds lately is the much-talked about second stimulus package, which could be coming in the coming weeks.

According to WGRZ, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is eyeing a $1 trillion aid package this go around.

The next potential aid package is looking to be centered around liability protections -- to shield doctors, schools and other businesses from COVID-19 related lawsuits, from patrons claiming injuries after reopenings.

Per WGRZ, McConnell is also considering a "fresh-round" of payments directed at people earning $40,000 a year or less.

Democrats proposed a $3-million aid package that passed the House of Representatives.

There isn't an expected decision on a future stimulus package until later this month. Congress is away for two weeks and will return July 20th.
