More snow is expected in Western New York tonight and into Wednesday morning.

According to WIVB 4 Warn Weather, areas of the southern tier can expect an additional few inches of snow until Wednesday morning, while there could also be lake snow bands that will push down from the upper lakes that could bring snow northeast of Buffalo, while some snow showers could push into the suburbs and city. Maybe enough for a dusting or inch at most.

The snow should be over for everyone by late Wednesday morning. A Winter Weather Advisory is still in effect for Chautauqua County until 7 am Wednesday.

It's going to be cold tonight though, low of around 30 in Buffalo with low-to-mid 20's in the valleys.

According to Mike Cejka, over 5 inches of snow fell in Boston, NY by midday on Tuesday!

It's not just the southern tier and areas near Buffalo. Rochester saw a fair share of snow today, too.

It's only a matter of time before we get out first "Lake Effect Snow Warning," just waiting on when that will be...hopefully that holds off for a few weeks at least.
