Dealing with the death of a loved one is difficult enough without having to argue over what should be included on the gravestone. Now modern technology is beginning to render such disputes obsolete.

QR codes are a fast connection to more information about ads [it’s usually that little black and white box at the bottom of the advertisement]. Now, if you have a smartphone, you can get connected with QR codes on tombstones. The link can have anything from more information about the deceased to comments made by family and friends.

An American company that offers the new option [it’s also available in parts of England] posted this video on the procedure:

The U.S. company didn’t give out any prices for the service, but one British customer reportedly paid only about $500 for her husband’s enhanced gravestone.
