Thousands of New Yorkers had their dream crushed or extended last night depending on how you like to look at life.

Last night's Powerball drawing didn't produce a jackpot winner which means people all over New York are sad they didn't win or happy that no one won and that the jackpot will grow for Wednesday's drawing and they have another shot at winning it.

Last night's Powerball numbers were 1-4-12-36-49, with the Powerball 5.

There was only one "Big Winning" million-dollar ticket sold for last night's drawing. That ticket matched all five white balls but not the Powerball. That ticket was sold in California.

As for the jackpot, it will not jump up to $653 million dollars. The lump sum cash payout is around $350.5 million dollars.

So far in 2023, there have been plenty of million-dollar winning tickets sold in New York. In fact, the previous Powerball jackpot drawing on January 27th produced one "Big Winner" million-dollar winning ticket that was sold in New York.

This year there have been over 10 lottery tickets sold that have been worth at least one million dollars.
