Mix Morning Rush Plays With Sea Lions at Aquarium of Niagara [VIDEO + PHOTOS]

This has to have been one of my favorite days EVER! We got a behind the scenes look at the Aquarium of Niagara, and it solidifies the fact that I now want a sea lion. I can keep him in my bathtub.

That's just a JOKE, by the way. They're super cute, intelligent and sweet....but please, no haters.

Keith and I were treated to a behind-the-scenes look at the Aquarium and were introduced to some of the incredible sea lions and seals.

You may have heard about Della, the most recent addition (above).  She is a blind rescued seal and a total sweetheart.  She's trainer Tammy's favorite...she calls her "A-dell'a" (no word yet if she's learned the lyrics to "Hello".)

Here's a little video featuring two of the sea lion trainers (seriously, best job ever!) as well as some of what we saw.  I highly recommend not only bringing the family for a visit but also investing in what is quite a treasure in our own backyard.

The Aquarium "adopts" many sea animals, many of whom were injured or rescued by other organizations.

They have a MASSIVE expansion effort underway.  We saw a blueprint of what to expect in coming months, and it's going to be a wonderful addition to the area and will give so many kids (and big kids alike) a fabulous opportunity to learn more about an further appreciate these awesome animals!

By the way, did you know they offer Birthday Parties and Sleepovers?!  I would have LOVED to have had either one of these as a kid.  I would love it NOW! :)
