The revitalization of the Buffalo Waterfront continues with the announcement that 24 million dollars will be used to develop the area.

The state announced the investment on Tuesday afternoon citing that the money will be used to attract more visitors and to provide more recreational options for local residents.

Part of the investment includes around a $10 million investment to complete the North Aud Block historic street grid and create a site for future development.

Other projects include a $4 million commitment to construct a new facility to build a replica 1825 packet boat at Canalside, and a $10 million investment to create a network of public access points along the waterways of Buffalo.
