With or without hair, Millie Bobby Brown wants you to know you're beautiful all the same.

"I miss my shaved head," the star mused on Twitter Saturday (January 13) of the days of going completely bald for her iconic role as Eleven for the Netflix hit series Stranger Things.

While these days the 13-year-old has since been pictured rocking a shock of brunette locks, the actress considers going through with the big chop as one of the most liberating experiences of her life.

Since becoming the poster child for the 2016 sci-fi series, Brown has learned a thing or two about feeling comfortable with her appearance in the Hollywood limelight. One such lesson being that beauty is ambiguous and that — despite antiquated models of prettiness — there is something empowering about breaking down conventional beauty standards.

"Shaving your head is so empowering," the English star assured. "You don't need hair to be beautiful. You are beautiful with or without. I learnt [sic] that too x."

"The day I shaved my head was the most empowering moment of my whole life," Brown continued. "The last strand of hair cut off was the moment my whole face was on show and I couldn’t hide behind my hair like I used to. As I looked in the mirror I realized I had one job to do. Inspire."

Not long after sharing her uplifting testimony, fans of all ages responded with images and inspiring statements about what it was like going hairless for the first time.

"I shaved mine a few days ago. I was so built up with so much grief from my father passing a month ago. And I feel so much better and glad I did it!" wrote one user.

"My 7 year old wanted to be Eleven for Halloween. When I asked her what she wanted to do with her hair she just said, 'Shave it,' with a straight face," another fan wrote, with images of her daughter dressed as Brown's admired on-screen persona. "So we did. She LOVES Stranger Things and the character you play means a lot to her."
