How can postage stamps be unsafe?

Paper cuts on the tongue? Some sort of toxin in the adhesive?

No. The pictures on the stamps themselves.

They all seem OK to me. All highlighting outdoor activities for kids. But look a little closer...

The stamps in question: a skateboarder without knee pads, a swimmer doing a cannonball, and a kid doing a headstand without a helmet.

Unsafe? Or are people overreacting? They are only stamps after all.

The stamps were printed at Ashton Potter in Williamsville and are sitting on a printer until their fate is determined.
