What’s Happening This Weekend In Western New York?

There is always something going on in Western New York, and this is a big weekend in Western New York: a weekend dedicated to those who served our country and never made it out of their uniform. 

If you know someone who have served our country, know that they have made all of us #BuffaloProud. 

While there are plenty of Memorial Day ceremonies to honor those who have fallen and parades to commemorate their lives, there are some other events going on this weekend as well. 

Every Friday, Kadie's Kalendar takes a closer look at 10 of the best events going on around Western New York for that weekend, and there truly is something for everyone -- especially if you love summer and all the festivities that come with it.

You can hang out with the family at the Totally Buffalo Festival or you can enjoy coffee while taking a look at some of the hottest cars at the Coffee & Cars Auto Show, but make sure that you carve out some time from the weekend to go to the WNY Tribute Fest and honor those who have fallen as they fought for our country.

It's going to be a fun and exciting weekend in Western New York! This weekend, you might catch me at the Buffalo Marathon (and I mean literally, because I am by no means fast). However, I am running in honor of St. Jude Children’s Hospital, and if you are able to, please consider making a donation here. Every penny donated goes entirely to St. Jude so that no family ever has to pay a medical bill while their child is receiving treatment for cancer. 

The Buffalo Marathon is on Sunday and maybe I’ll see you there, but if not, I hope you enjoy the weekend with whatever plans you decide to make!
