Meet Children’s Book Author Susan Verde This Saturday

These lovely sentences are from children's book author Susan Verde's latest work, I am Human: A Book of Empathy.

She has been getting accolades for writing children's books that are not only full of encouragement, but are also ones that parents enjoy reading, over and over again.

Well, if you have a child in your life, they can meet the real author this Saturday at 11 a.m. Hertel Ave, Buffalo.  It's all part of a new program called "Sleep Story Time For Kids" series.

Children of all ages have the chance to interact with a New York Times best-selling author this weekend.

Susan Verde, author of I Am Human: A Book of Empathy, is kicking off the "Start With Sleep Story Time" for Kids series on Saturday at 11 a.m. at 1211 Hertel Ave, Buffalo.

The 'Start With Sleep' teamed launch the events, which will take place the first Saturday of every month this summer. They're intended to highlight the importance of reading aloud to children of all ages.

Verde's books are consistently on the New York Times best selling list.

In general her book's forward the message that we can all foster creativity, hope and compassion.   Maybe us big kids should re-look at her books.  :-)
