Buffalo Native Steals The Show On American Idol
This Sunday you will have a chance to see a Buffalo native do something that no one else from the Queen City has had a chance to do on the TV show American Idol.

That would be face off against two other contestants for a chance to win the special Platinum Ticket.
What ended up happening was he was picked to battle for a very special platinum ticket. While he didn't go on to win that Platinum ticket, he did make an impression on the judges and you can see his audition this Sunday on the new season of American Idol.
Matt did several auditions via zoom before heading out and singing in front of producers and in the end, singing in front of a trio of judges made up of Lionel Richie, Katy Perry, and Luke Bryan.
We are sure with everyone here in the 716 backing him, Matt will make a name for himself and go far in the competition.
Matt appears on the 2nd episode of the new season, so we won't see him again for a while so you should make sure to watch him this Sunday.
American Idol will air this Sunday on ABC WKBW Channel 7 at 8 pm.
