Several On-Street Parking Bans Lifted Due To Warmer Temps

This afternoon Buffalo was actually warmer than San Diego, California!

Channel 2 Weather team writes,

The result? Fewer people reaching for winter coats, and more people eager to get outdoors and enjoy the warmth while it's still around.

Last night a friend and I went to Canalside to skate and it was packed.  It was odd to see folks skating without winter jackets.

The warmth has also led to parking bans being lifted.

The Town of Tonawanda, Village of Kenmore, the Village of Lancaster and the City of Buffalo have all temporarily lifted on-street parking bans due to the warm weather and lack of snow.

Cooler temps expected by Tuesday and Wednesday, just in time for the new year.
